Sam’s Bible Journal Feb 18-24

Scripture- Acts 24:14 But this I confess to you, that according to the way which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the law and written in the prophets.

Observation- The Apostle Paul declares to all people that he follows Jesus and his teachings, including everything the bible says about him in the law and the prophets. This is called in the first century Church as “The Way”.

      Paul, in the midst of great persecution boldly declares He is part of the way and as such he worships God the Father and Jesus the Christ as Lord!

Application- I declare I am a follower of Jesus , The Way. I believe everything written in the bible about Jesus and He is my Lord.

Prayer- Father, my God, this day I come to you and declare my full worship to you and your Son Jesus the Christ. My ask today is for a great increase of boldness in this time in History to stand as Paul did and declare I am a part of the Way, I am a follower of Jesus and His word. I say “here I am Lord” your son Samuel, use me to declare the Way in my generation.
