Sam’s Bible Journal Mar 19-25

Title – Jesus – The God Who Stops Time

S- Joshua 10:13-14  So the sun stood still and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. 14 There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel.

O- There was a day when God stopped time on the Earth! A day when there was perfect alignment between God’s Will and Man’s request. If ever there is a testimony in the bible of what is possible for us as believers fully committed to God, this is it. God did the impossible on the Earth. He defied all science and human wisdom. This gives us all hope that God can do all things according to his riches in Heaven – even bend time, even stop time to help us and keep us in his perfect peace!

A- I will stand firm on God’s ability to do all things, even in the darkest nights and most difficult days, Jesus is the God that stopped time and therefore he can redeem time for me!

P- Father God, here I am, your son. I am so in need of you every day. Lord Jesus you and you alone are my hope. I hold on to you today in all things and in all ways, for you are the God that stops time.
