Journal Entry Genesis 31:33
33 Laban went first into Jacob’s tent to search there, then into Leah’s, and then the tents of the two servant wives—but he found nothing. Finally, he went into Rachel’s tent.
This story takes place when God told Jacob to go back to the land of his fathers, and Laban is angry about Jacob leaving.
It reminds me that when God tells us to do something we just need to go and be obedient. When I first started ministering God Spoke to me through a homeless woman I was talking to and praying for. She told me to Go to this church down the street from my house which led me to Pastor Sam and his ministry and I put off because at first, I did not believe it. Then the Lord sent a homeless man in front of me and told me to go the church down the street, I did not go the first the time I was told and also I did not tell my previous Pastor, that I was being called to another church at the time. When God calls you some place sometimes you don’t have a chance to explain in the time of transition you just go because God has opened up a new door for you.
