Dear brothers and sisters,
I want to ask you one important question..
“What is the meaning of crossing the Red Sea today? Exodus chapter 14-16
This is an example in how we sometimes live our spiritual life, we think that the evil one would stop attacking us once we stop doing worldly things or practicing sin, we think that the enemy forgets about us but when we find ourselves in a slimy pit, we fear!.. We freeze! When Pharaoh went after the people of Israel as they camped by the sea we also camp when we get comfortable, lazy and forget to be on our knees praying when we are so close to the enemy’s domain. Exodus 14:9
There is no doubt that the devil will try to shoot his arrows in your direction. Arrows of fear, doubt and confusion!
Satan surely will continue to attack us while we are still in his playground (in this world). We forget the phrase “god of this world” (or “god of this age”) or “prince of the power of the air” in Ephesians 2:2. indicates that Satan is the major influence on the ideals, opinions, goals, hopes and views of the majority of people. His influence also encompasses the world’s philosophies, education, and commerce. The thoughts, ideas, speculations and false religions of the world are under his control and have sprung from his lies and deceptions.
Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.” Exodus 14:13-14
As we answer this question in the light of His word, I want to encourage you to pray for one another, either in corporate prayer or in your secret place, and intercede for one another! James 5:16. It is probably the most important way to “love one another”, the second most important commandment from our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 22:36-40
All we have to do is to take the action, these are the steps to begin the process of deliverance on a daily basis:
#1 Start out with a cry to our God Almighty!
” Because God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1)
“Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.”It doesn’t say attack the enemy! It says to put on the full armor of God and to stand your ground!VERSES TO REMEMBER:
• Exodus 3:8
“So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey..”
• Exodus 3:9
“Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or remain absent, I will hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel.”My brethren,Cry out!
In your fervent prayer!
In your secret place!
Your Servant in Christ Jesus.
